We are in urgent need of volunteers to run Open Church on Saturday mornings. The rota for October-December has been up in the link building for three weeks but is still very empty. Very little is required, simply open the building and make refreshments for friends and visitors stopping by before locking up again. It's a good way to start your weekend and encourages others to stop by and chat and is only for two hours (10am to 12pm) - you don't have to do every week, just when you are available.
We understand people become more busy in the autumn term but if we can't find people to sign up to help, we will end up having to close the church on Saturday mornings - something we are keen to avoid considering how long it has been running!
Sign up on the rota in the welcome area today - we're open every Saturday 10am to 12pm and Sunday 10am to 12.30pm and 6pm to 8pm (evening times may vary) - thank you
