We gather onLINE EACH Sunday at 10.30am - everyone is INVITED to worship with us!
We come as we are to worship - friends and members join our worship from their homes, work and abroad! The online service, currently our main one, begins at 10.30 am and is preceded by Jam Club. Many of our Jam Clubbers then join the congregation for the main service, as they did during the family-orientation message of morning services pre-Covid.
Following the news of a second lockdown in November, we have again suspended physical services for worship in the building. Sadly this means we will not be worshipping in the building this year, although the church was still able to host the Shoebox project. Sign-in lists and QR code scanning is still required for anyone entering the building, although entry should be strictly limited until 16 December (current review of lockdown tiers).
Our other services
At present we are only running a skeletal series of services, just online because of the second lockdown. Part of the spirit of our special services, like Parades and 4-5-6 services, comes from the atmosphere of the church, something we are missing with online worship. However, we did get our uniformed groups involved with Remembrance, with both pre-recorded items, and with the Act of Remembrance. Acknowledging that Covid-19 and government restrictions are here for the immediate future, we have also begun planning Christmas, a very important time in the year for us.
