Herts & Beds Historic Churches Trust launched their 2019 Bike 'n Hike (more) promotion - the date chosen that of Saturday 14 September between 9am and 5pm - in conjunction with the nationwide Ride+Stride (more)
The annual Bike ’n Hike offers the opportunity to raise money for both WRBC Hitchin and for the Historic Churches Trust. For every £1 raised in sponsorship, 50p is returned to us - the other half goes to the Beds & Herts Historic Churches Trust which is distributed, in the form of grants, to local communities struggling to raise funds for vital repairs to their church or chapel.
Taking part involves being sponsored for either cycling or walking to visit other churches (you plan your own route). We also need volunteers to welcome participants to the church between 9am and 6pm - please message us if you can help.
