TUE 27 - FRI 30 AUGUST 2019
Holiday Club returned this August with Go MAD! Four fun-filled mornings with games, stories, craft, worship and more certainly living up to the theme of the week! The week closed with the Fish & Chips Update session on the Friday night - sharing all we'd learnt over the week with the parents and grown-ups of the children. Holiday Club also takes over the morning service on 1 September - we'd like to invite everyone along to that (starts 10.30am).
Daily sessions begin in the church at 9.30am with an all-age time of stories, drama, worship and film. Children then leave and split into their key stages groups in the hall (KS1 downstairs and KS2 upstairs). Further stories, craft and games are enjoyed before the groups finish back in the church for a conclusion to stories and time of worship before being collected by parents at 12.15pm.
On Friday, we invited the parents back in the evening to find out what we've been learning, making and doing. This year followed previous years in the form of a Fish & Chips supper followed by a short service showcasing the past week's activities - feedback was positive and we'd hope to repeat such an event again next year.
Go MAD photos coming soon!
