A very big welcome!
We’re a small, friendly group of Mums, Dads, Grandparents & Carers who meet together
on a Thursday morning (9.30-
We normally start with ‘free play’ for all the children, when we have a large selection
of toys available for all ages, followed by a drink (water/juice) and biscuit for
the children, tea/coffee & chocolate
biscuit! for the adults.
At about 10.50 there is ‘story time’ in the lounge room and we finish at around 11.15 with ‘singing time’. Whilst the children have story/singing time we ask that parents (if they’re able to) clear away the toys & chairs in the hall.
The cost for each week is £1.50 which you put into the money pot on the table. If it’s your first visit please fill out a ‘new parent & child’ form and add your name to the register. For subsequent visits, you just need to tick against your name in the register.
There is no rota for setting up/tidying away the toys – everybody just lends a hand if they’re able to and we have some very lovely ladies from church who come in to make our drinks for us.
Each wee
k we have a craft available for the children, sometimes this is themed, other
times just colouring or gluing & sticking and is generally very simple. There is
a craft rota for this but please don’t feel you have to sign up straightaway!
