Mini-Jammers(Crèche)

For parents and carers with young children under 5 we have several options available.

A supervised Creche, ‘Mini-Jammers’ is available from 10.20am to 11.45am in the Lower Church Hall. Parents can drop their children off at any time before or during the service (and collect them at the end!). For babies, we have a soft mat play area with bouncy and bumbo chairs, playnest and soft toys. We can also provide bottle warming facilities and have a baby changing station. For toddlers and older children the session is mainly free play, with a bible based craft area and story time. We also have a drinks and snack time (please advise us if you child has any allergies, special diets etc).

All our volunteers who help in Mini-Jammers have been fully CRB checked and most of us are Mums with little one’s of our own!

Parents are more than welcome to stay with their child in Mini-Jammers if they would like and can pop in and check on them at any time.

We also have a small play area in the Richard Johnson room (at the front of the Church) for those parents who would prefer to stay with their children. There are books, puzzles, colouring and quiet toys to keep children occupied and parents are still be able to hear the service via a sound system.

In addition, children are more than welcome to stay in Church for the service. There are ‘play bags’ available in the Richard Johnson room (at the back of the Church) for children to take into the service.

In 2008 we updated our Sunday School to a new, more relevant, format known as JAM Club (for J esus A nd M e) and Crèche became the 'Mini-Jammers'
