Walsworth Road Baptist Church is a fellowship of believers who are working together to do God's will to the best of our abilities. We believe that Jesus Christ has changed our lives and he can change yours as well if you let him.

Sunday worship takes place at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. with approximately 150 of all ages attending morning worship and 30 to 40 at the evening service. Worship is fairly structured and we use a mixture of traditional and modern hymns. Increasingly we are harnessing the power of new technology in our worship.

Holy Communion is an integral part of the service on the first Sunday morning and the third Sunday evening of each month. Additional Communion services are held on Easter morning and Christmas Eve.

We have many week day activities, which includes Church Life Prayers, House Groups, and an Open Church on Saturday mornings.

Our fellowship has also embarked on a significant building project to expand our facilities to meet our current and expected needs as we go forward into the 21^st century.

The church is a member of the Baptist Union of Great Britain and the Central Baptist Association .

Walsworth Road Baptist Church along with many other churches in the town form Churches Together in Hitchin , which is part of Churches Together in England . Joint activities and services are held at various times during the year. We also hold joint worship services with our fellow Baptists at Tilehouse Street Baptist Church several times during the year
