JAM Club

The JAM in Jam Club is short for ' J esus A nd M e', and this is the new name and format which replaced Sunday School in 2008.

Jam Club is for children aged 5-12 years and we meet every week of the year to learn Bible stories, do games & activities, pray and have fun. Activities include art & crafts, clay/junk modelling, cooking, quizzes, and walks out. Sessions run from 10.30am – 11.45am starting in church for worship with the church family, and then moving into the church hall where we separate into 3 different age-related groups:

  • Trekkers for 5-7 yr olds Leaders Hannah & Ashley
  • Pioneers for 8-9 yr olds Leaders Amanda & Kevin
  • Navigators for 10-12 yr olds Leaders Julie & Stephen

All Jam Club members have a Jam Club card and they can earn splats! just by turning up each week. Splat prizes are given at regular intervals.

We also have annual events such as:

  • New Year Parties (Cinema, Bowling or Tea party)
  • Jam Festival & BBQ
  • Jam Club Outing (Wicksteed Park or Fort Knebworth)
  • Summer Holiday Club
  • Harvest Festival
  • Nativity Play (led by Jam Club & Youth Group)

We would love you to join in our sessions. So please come along any Sunday and have a chat with one of the Jam Club leaders – we are the ones wearing bright red shirts!
