As a Church we also believe that we must work on both our spiritual life and on spreading the gospel. We believe that the gospel can be most effectively spread by demonstrating our love and concern for our neighbours, both in our local community and in the wider world.

As part of Churches Together In Hitchin we are helping to support a schools worker , who is able to bring Christian input to all the secondary schools in Hitchin.

We also give our support to many different local, national and international charities, such as the BMS World Mission and Bible Society .

We have just starting an early morning breakfast bar for Secondary School children. This runs fives days a week during term time from 7.45am, and the initial take up has shown that this is meeting a significant community need.

We are currently evaluating what further support we can give to our local community.

Like many Churches we have buildings which are available at limited times for commercial, charitable and public service use, provided the use is broadly in line with the Churches aims.
